Step 1: Sample Preparation

Flower

Provide a minimum of 2 grams of bud material.

Concentrates & Isolates

(Rosin, wax, shatter, budder, RSO, FECO, etc.)

Provide a minimum of 0.5 grams.

Tinctures

Provide a minimum of 3 mL for alcohol based or 3 grams for glycerin based.

Edibles

Please contact us directly for size requirements. Be sure to include the following with your sample:
- Cannabinoid mg per serving
- Serving size
- Total number of servings per package

Things to Consider

Flower: Ensure that the flower sample you provide is representative of the entire plant or strain. The plant is not homogenous, and potency value varies between bud sites.
- For Maximum Potency Testing: Submit top colas or larger, denser buds, which typically hold the highest cannabinoid content.
- For Best Representation: We recommend selecting random buds from different parts of the plant(s) to ensure a more accurate profile of your sample.

Mail Your Samples

To ensure the safe and accurate arrival of your samples, please follow these packaging guidelines:

Primary Container

Use a reinforced container for flower samples to maintain the structure and integrity of the buds, especially if you would like photographs included in the Certificate of Analysis (CoA).

Odor-proof bags or lightly vacuum-sealed bags are recommended. Note: If vacuum sealing without a hard container, take care, as trichomes may adhere to the surface, potentially impacting test results.

For concentrates or tinctures in glass containers, secure lids with tape to prevent leakage during transit.

Ensure all containers are properly labeled and clearly identify the contents.

Secondary Container

A box is recommended to provide extra protection during shipping; however, a padded envelope is sufficient if properly sealed.

Ensure that all samples are properly labeled and that the package is secure to avoid damage during transit.
